moving tragedies.

So I moved at the beginning of the month — but being out of town for a couple weekends in a row delayed the unpacking process. I’m almost finish but that didn’t stop me from breaking two pretty little things:

The first was a this pretty little glass shoe ornament by best friend and maid of honor gave me when we were little girls. I had already broken off a small piece and I had put it in a bag and box hoping to glue it back together. But during the move it got crushed and now it’s time to part ways.

The second piece had far less sentimental value. It was just a small vase my mom gave me last year and it had some silk flowers in it that got destroyed during the move. I pictured setting it on the dining room table and placing one bloom in it on special occasions. So this morning I had cleaned it but then accidentally knocked it off the counter.

le sigh.
